Data Center Facilities Operations Analyst (24x7 Infrastructure Monitoring)

We are recruiting for an established global infrastructure firm seeking a proactive

Your tasks

. This is a permanent, 24x7 shift-based role responsible for the continuous monitoring and first-line incident management of mission-critical data center infrastructure on a global scale.

You will ensure the maximum uptime, reliability, and performance of essential electrical, mechanical, cooling, and life-safety systems. Acting as the primary line of defense, you will detect anomalies, manage incident lifecycles, and collaborate with cross-functional technical teams and external vendors to resolve critical site issues swiftly.

• Continuous Infrastructure Monitoring: Maintain 24x7 oversight of critical data center environments using BMS, EPMS, and DCIM platforms. Actively track mechanical, electrical, HVAC, water, and fire suppression systems to detect and investigate abnormal operating parameters.
• Incident Triage & Response: Act as the first responder for critical infrastructure alarms. Triage issues in real-time, execute standard escalation protocols, and coordinate response efforts for major incidents (e.g., utility power outages, UPS/generator anomalies, cooling failures, and water leaks).
• Ticket & Change Management: Log, update, and manage service tickets in compliance with strict SLA targets. Review operational change requests, monitor work orders, and coordinate maintenance windows to prevent service disruptions.
• Governance & Compliance: Review vendor-submitted technical documentation, including Methods of Procedure (MOPs), Risk Assessments (RAs), and Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs). Ensure all maintenance aligns with facility standards and operational freeze policies.
• Data & System Administration: Maintain high accuracy of monitoring platform master data, asset details, and alarm configurations. Keep meticulous logs of facility events and operational documentation for audit readiness.
• Reporting & Analytics: Evaluate facility operational data to identify performance trends or recurring system vulnerabilities. Compile shift summaries and performance reports to drive continuous improvement in engineering reliability.

Requirements

• Education: Diploma or Degree in Electrical/Mechanical Engineering, Facilities Management, Information Technology, or a closely related technical field.
• Experience: Minimum of 2 years of hands-on experience working within data centers, critical facilities, Network Operations Centers (NOC), or command center environments.
• Technical Knowledge: Proficient understanding of mission-critical infrastructure, including Building Management Systems (BMS), Electrical Power Monitoring Systems (EPMS), HVAC/cooling loops, UPS units, emergency generators, and fire suppression systems.
• Flexibility: Ability to commit to a 24x7 rotating shift schedule and provide remote operational support for regional sites when required.
