Clinical Lab Manager

Work location: West side polyclinics Job Responsibilities: Provide technical leadership and oversee day-to-day service delivery, ensuring continuity, quality and effective stakeholder support.

Supervise, mentor and assess staff competency, including training, performance monitoring and development.

Lead quality management activities, including quality control, audits, quality indicators, incident review and continuous improvement. Ensure compliance with HCSA, ISO 15189, ESS and other applicable regulatory and professional standards.

Evaluate and validate equipment, instruments, reagents, imaging modalities and test methods prior to implementation.

Oversee equipment commissioning, calibration, maintenance and performance monitoring, and resolve technical issues.

Maintain effective document control, records management and service documentation to ensure accuracy, traceability and audit readiness.

Investigate technical, operational and quality issues, leading root cause analysis and corrective/preventive actions.

Promote workplace, biological, chemical and radiation safety, including risk assessment, incident reporting and emergency preparedness.

Monitor service performance, support incident and complaint investigations, and prepare quality and management reports as required.

Requirements: At least 5 years’ clinical lab management and phlebotomy experience

Degree in Biomedical Science or equivalent

ASCP certification will be a strong advantage
