Your tasks

Within the purchasing department, you will ensure the management of electronic and electrotechnical component purchases, in connection with the technical and production teams.

In this capacity, you will be responsible for

• Identifying and selecting specialized suppliers of electronic and electrotechnical components, both in France and internationally.
• Conducting supplier consultations, analyzing offers, and negotiating purchasing conditions.
• Utilizing component nomenclatures and technical drawings to meet the company's needs.
• Planning supplies based on calculated needs, projects, and production imperatives.
• Managing purchases in both the project phase and series production.
• Monitoring supplier performance and intervening in case of difficulties related to quality, lead times, or component shortages.
• Searching for alternative solutions to secure supplies and guarantee manufacturing continuity.
• Contributing to cost optimization and component standardization in collaboration with technical teams.

Requirements

To successfully carry out the missions of this position, we are looking for the following qualities:

• You have a higher education background in purchasing, at a Bac+5 level or equivalent, and have at least 5 years of experience in industrial purchasing.
• You possess a good technical culture in electronics and electrotechnics and are proficient in reading nomenclatures (BOM) and technical drawings.
• You are familiar with electronic and electrotechnical component distributors and have already managed purchases related to projects and series production.
• Proficiency in fluent English and an ERP is indispensable. Knowledge of SAGE X3 is a plus.
• Rigorous, autonomous, and possessing good interpersonal skills, you know how to negotiate, anticipate supply risks, and work with technical interlocutors.
