Project Quality Engineer (m/f/d)

ETC currently employs around 800 people at its five locations in Capenhurst (United Kingdom), Jülich (Germany), Almelo (Netherlands), Tricastin (France), and Eunice (USA) and is growing due to the increasing global demand for low-CO₂ energy.
Tasks:
- You represent Quality Assurance (QA) in the area of piping manufacturing
- You develop and establish quality standards as well as effective quality management and control systems
- You analyze, evaluate, and coordinate customer requirements as well as project-specific quality specifications with internal and external stakeholders
- You check process and quality documentation and ensure compliance with defined quality requirements and specifications
- You identify quality deviations at an early stage and manage the standard-compliant processing of defective products, documents, and services
- You are responsible for complaint management and moderate structured problem-solving processes, for example according to the 8D methodology
- You plan, coordinate, and accompany internal audits and derive appropriate improvement measures from them
- You support and accompany certification and approval processes
Requirements:
- Completed degree in engineering or technician with relevant professional experience
- High level of knowledge in quality methods APQP, 8D, FMEA, and Continuous Improvement
- Several years of professional experience in project execution, ideally in the quality technology area
- Very good knowledge of the ISO standard 9001 and experience in quality management, ideally in-depth knowledge of regulations in piping or plant engineering
- Knowledge of the ASME Code (BPV and B31.3) is an advantage
- A high degree of initiative, organizational strength, reliability, and teamwork skills
- Further training as an auditor would be desirable
- Willingness to travel domestically and abroad
- Good written and spoken English skills
