HSE site Lead

The site HSE lead roles & Responsibilities shall include the following but not limited to :

• Lead and ensure strict implementation of PDO/ BBIP HSE management system.
• Coach and monitor site HSE team, ensuring effective HSE coverage for site /HSE activities.
• Ensure compliance with PDO environment regulations.
• Ensure compliance with PDO specifications project requirements .
• Participate in the preparation of risk assessments ,PTW,SIMOPS requirements.
• Monitor high-risk activities and verify that control measurements are implemented, suitable and adequate .
• Conduct regular site inspection, internal audits, support project management during management walkabouts.
• Ensure welfare and sanitary amenities are provided and readily available for site team.
• Support management in weekly massive toolbox talks and incentive program.
• Participate randomly in the daily TRIC to ensure it is adequately performed and that site hazards are well communicate to the team.
• Ensure timely identification, reporting, and closeout of HSE findings and prepare the trend analysis.
• Ensure compliance of site mandatory/advisory of Personal Protective equipment (PPE) and identify PPE needing.
• Lead the incidents investigation and ensure lessons learned (LFI) are communicated.
• Ensure effective emergency preparedness, rescue ,evacuation arrangements including resources and tools availability ,prepare drill scenarios and lead implementation of interval emergency drills
• Improve , monitor HSE performance, and prepare KPIs, trend analysis.
• Ensure all site employees have received the required and mandatory HSE trainings as per project training matrix before entry or engaging in any site activities.
• Manage and monitor subcontractor HSE performance and compliance.
• Coordinate HSE interfaces with construction, operations, and support PDO HSE and operation team in compliance with HSE requirements.
• Provide HSE advice and recommendations to Site/Project Management.
• Prepare site for internal ,external audits and support management during site visits to define any non-compliance or system failure and propose identification of HSE area of improvement.
• Maintain Stop Work Authority and intervene where unsafe conditions or unacceptable risks are identified.
• Promote a strong HSE culture, workforce engagement, and continuous improvement across the project.

Degree qualified; minimum of 10-15 years related experience; minimum of 7 years’ experience in HSE management; responsible for executing minimum of three similar projects for Oil/water and gas.
