Bioanalytical Scientist LC-MS in Pharma

Job Description

As a Scientist Bioanalysis you will contribute to the development of new medicines within an innovative R&D environment. In this laboratory-oriented role, you will support research activities with advanced bioanalytical analyses and methods. You will combine hands-on lab work with data interpretation and method development, and with your LC-MS expertise, you will make a direct contribution to decisions within drug research.

You will be part of a team that provides bioanalytical support across various therapeutic domains and molecule types.

Your responsibilities

• Performing LC-MS bioanalyses on diverse molecule types
• Developing, refining, and optimizing bioanalytical methods
• Generating, processing, and interpreting analytical data according to applicable quality standards
• Preparing samples using techniques such as SPE and LLE
• Working with automated and robotic analysis technologies
• Drafting analytical reports and substantiating results
• Thinking along about automation solutions to make workflows more efficient
• Using data analysis tools, including R, for processing and analysis of measurement data

You work accurately and analytically and feel at home in an experimental research environment. You pick up new techniques quickly and communicate smoothly with colleagues in a multidisciplinary team.

Hard skills

• Master's in Analytical Chemistry or a related scientific field
• At least 3 years of relevant experience in bioanalysis or analytical chemistry
• Experience with mass spectrometry, including Triple Quadrupole and/or HRMS
• Practical knowledge of liquid chromatography and sample preparation techniques such as SPE and LLE
• Proficient knowledge of English
• Experience with data analysis tools
