Job Description

As an Associate Scientist GC, you will contribute to the development of medicines that make a difference for patients. In a pharmaceutical environment in Beerse, you will support analytical development projects throughout the entire product lifecycle. The focus lies on gas chromatographic analyses, method development, validation, and GMP testing.

You will make an important contribution to reliable quality controls and the safe introduction of new medicines.

Your responsibilities

• Developing, validating, and transferring GC methods
• Supporting analytical testing for APIs and medicines
• Independently following up on assigned analytical projects
• Analyzing, investigating, and resolving analytical deviations and problems
• Preparing GMP documentation, protocols, and reports
• Collaborating on the implementation of new GC technologies and analytical methods
• Monitoring quality, safety, and compliance with GMP

You work accurately, take responsibility, and communicate smoothly with colleagues and other stakeholders. Even when priorities change, you continue to work in a structured and result-oriented manner.

Your background

• Bachelor or Master in Chemistry, Analytical Chemistry, or a similar field
• Preferably 0 to 2 years of experience in a laboratory environment
• Knowledge of Gas Chromatography (GC) is a strong asset
• Experience in a GMP or pharmaceutical environment is a plus
• Good knowledge of English, both oral and written
