ENGGSOL PTE. LTD.Singaporemycareersfuturepublished 09/25/2026

Will handle BMS Project Engineering in Schneider Electric Building Management Systems (BMS), EcoStruxure Building Operation (EBO), controls design, programming, system integration and commissioning . Will be responsible for delivering BMS projects from engineering design and programming through to site installation, integration, testing, commissioning and handover . Independently translate customer requirements and M&E systems into practical control strategies, sequences of operation and BMS software solutions , while working closely with consultants, contractors, equipment OEMs and end users.

Key Responsibilities

  1. BMS Design & Engineering

Design and engineer BMS solutions based on project specifications, functional requirements and M&E systems. Develop BMS architecture, control schematics, I/O schedules, point lists and network architecture . Develop and review detailed Sequences of Operation / Functional Descriptions . Translate HVAC and building-services requirements into appropriate control strategies. Review M&E drawings, equipment specifications and control requirements. Identify engineering gaps, interface requirements and potential technical risks during the design stage.

  1. Schneider EBO Programming

Configure and program Schneider Electric EcoStruxure Building Operation (EBO) systems. Engineer and configure SmartX controllers, I/O and field devices. Develop control logic for AHUs, FCUs, chilled-water systems, pumps, VSDs, ventilation systems and other building services. Develop sequences including: Equipment start/stop Interlocks and permissives Lead/lag and duty/standby operation Equipment staging PID control Alarm and fault handling Scheduling Automatic/manual operation Energy optimisation strategies

Develop BMS graphics, alarms, trends, schedules and user interfaces. Review and troubleshoot existing EBO programs and modify control logic where required.

  1. System Integration

Integrate BMS with third-party systems and equipment using protocols such as: BACnet/IP BACnet MS/TP Modbus TCP/IP Modbus RTU Other relevant communication protocols

Manage point mapping, data exchange and interface requirements. Coordinate integration with chillers, VSDs, electrical systems, energy meters, lighting systems, fire alarm systems, lifts and other building systems. Troubleshoot communication and data-mapping issues between BMS and third-party systems.

  1. Site Testing & Commissioning

Conduct point-to-point testing and I/O verification. Test sensors, actuators, control valves, dampers, VSDs and other field devices. Perform functional testing of BMS control sequences. Test alarms, interlocks, permissives, fail-safe functions and equipment shutdown sequences. Conduct FAT, SAT and integrated system testing where required. Troubleshoot site issues and implement corrective actions. Support performance testing and final system acceptance. Prepare commissioning records, test reports and as-built documentation.

  1. Project Delivery

Coordinate BMS engineering activities with project managers, site teams, subcontractors, consultants, main contractors and equipment OEMs. Monitor engineering and commissioning progress against project schedules. Review technical submissions and shop drawings. Manage technical queries, site issues and engineering changes. Identify project risks and propose practical technical solutions. Support variation assessments and scope clarification where required. Ensure engineering deliverables are completed on time and to the required quality standards.

  1. Troubleshooting & Technical Support

Diagnose BMS problems systematically across the field device, controller, network, software and equipment layers . Analyse control logic, alarms, trends and equipment feedback to identify root causes. Provide technical support to site teams, customers and facility operators. Resolve complex controls and integration issues with minimal supervision.
