LORRY DRIVER

Responsibility:

We are currently seeking a skilled and reliable Lorry Driver to join our team engaged in the manufacture of soya bean products, excluding soya bean sauce and soya bean milk. As a Lorry Driver, you will play a vital role in the transportation of our specialized products to various locations, ensuring timely deliveries and maintaining the integrity of our manufactured goods. This position requires excellent driving skills, a strong commitment to safety, and the ability to handle and transport soya bean products with care.

Job Description:

• Operate and maintain a lorry (delivery truck) to transport a variety of fruits and vegetables, both fresh and frozen, ensuring compliance with all traffic and safety regulations.
• Assist in the loading and unloading of produce onto the lorry, ensuring proper handling and securing to prevent damage during transit.
• Plan delivery routes to maximize efficiency and meet delivery schedules. Familiarize yourself with delivery locations and navigate using GPS or maps.
• Ensure that fruits and vegetables are stored and transported in a manner that preserves their quality and freshness. Report any issues or damage promptly.
• Coordinate with the warehouse or production team to ensure the availability of fruits and vegetables for delivery. Minimize discrepancies and ensure products are well-organized.
• Provide professional and courteous customer service when interacting with clients or receiving produce deliveries.
• Maintain accurate records of delivery activities, including receipts, delivery notes, and invoices. Collect payments when required and issue receipts.
• Perform routine checks on the lorry, including inspections, oil changes, and tire rotations. Report any mechanical issues for prompt repairs.
• Adhere to safety protocols and regulations to maintain a safe working environment for both customers and staff. Conduct regular safety inspections and address concerns promptly.
• Able to perform loading and unloading duties, including handling goods weighing up to 30kg.
• Able to work on Weekend, Sunday and Public Holiday, and willing to work overtime.

Working area: WOODLANDS , start work at 6am-630am.

Requirement:

• At least 6 Year(s) of working experience in Singapore.
• Must possess at least higher education/ Diploma in any field.
• Have a valid class 3 Singapore driving license.
• Familiar driving in Singapore roads or able to use GPS.
• Time management/ meticulous and mature in work.
