We require an experienced, knowledgeable, motivated and career-minded Estimator to be responsible for the accurate, timely preparation of full-cost estimates for projects, including materials and labour. Please only apply if you have relevant experience.

*Ideal candidates for this job will have:*

• Previous experience as a construction estimator ... IS A MUST.
• Knowledge of Windows based applications and ability to use CAD programs especially BLUEBEAM
• Ability to read and interpret drawings and specifications electronically.
• Experience bidding on commercial and industrial projects is an asset.
• Diploma in Architecture Construction Engineering or equivalence is preferred.

*Standard Job Duties:*

• Preparing estimates for take-off to final pricing.
• Soliciting General Contractors and supplier quotations.
• Preparing and submitting tenders and proposals, negotiating.
• Maintaining historical cost data and preparing project budgets.
• Thoroughly review all project specifications/drawings in accordance with tendering protocols and deadlines.
• Identify and resolve all possible contentious or unclear specifications to help ensure bidding accuracy and timely project completion
