Machine Operator

Job description

Mancan Temporary Employment Staffing Agency is seeking dependable machine operators for a manufacturing facility in the Medina area.

1st shift: 5:00 PM - 5:00 AM, Monday Thursday. Optional overtime on Fridays (not mandatory). $17.58/hour.

Key responsibilities:

Set up and operate machinery efficiently.

Maintain inventory and ensure proper upkeep of work area.

Perform daily maintenance on equipment and workspace.

Read and follow spec sheets and batch tickets.

Follow all safety and quality standards.

Ensure product quality (correct labels, secured caps, etc.).

Stage materials for upcoming production runs.

Keep work area clean, organized, and free of debris.

Physical requirements:

Comfortable working in a chemical manufacturing environment.

Ability to lift up to 50 lbs, climb, push, and pull as needed.

Capable of repetitive physical tasks.

Ability to stand for extended periods.

Willing to work in varying or extreme temperatures.

Qualifications:

Strong hand-eye coordination.

Ability to read, write, and understand English.

Comfortable following detailed instructions and specifications.

Manufacturing experience is a plus.
