Environmentalist / Economist Wanted For Employment By Energy Commission

The Energy Commission seeks results-oriented individuals for the above position. Job Purpose The job holder will report to the Head of Office of Social, Environmental and Technological Impact Assessment Division. Key Responsibilities

Undertake research and baseline studies Develop and implement projects in collaboration with relevant agencies, Conduct impact monitoring for every programmes and projects and Review and analyse socio-economic and environmental impact of energy-related projects

Qualification Required Or Experience

Bachelor's Degree in Economics or Geography Masters Degree in Economics, Environmental Science or Sociology, with at least 1 year post qualification experience

Competencies

Knowledge in research and analytical techniques Knowledge in Project Management and Evaluation High computer proficiency Good knowledge of the role of other regulators in the energy sector Competencies in report writing and presentation Ability to work with little or no supervision Team player and good interpersonal relations Ability to travel and work in remote areas of Ghana Self-motivated and proactive
