Calculation Engineer Rotor Blade (m/f/d) (Research and Development Engineer)

• Design of rotor blades in fiber composite structures through the application of analytical and numerical calculation methods within the framework of development projects - taking into account relevant standards as well as internal guidelines
• Accompanying construction and production: Support in the creation and release of CAD models and manufacturing documents as well as subsequent accompaniment of prototype construction and testing of rotor blades and components
• Management of existing projects as well as support in series production and continuous product improvement
• Technical further development of software tools and calculation methods to optimize development processes and increase efficiency
• Development of innovative technical solutions for design changes and new developments in the field of rotor blade technology

Your Qualifications

• Successfully completed university degree in the field of Maschinenbau, Luft- und Raumfahrttechnik or a comparable qualification - ideally with a focus on Technischer Mechanik, Strukturmechanik, Faserverbundstrukturauslegung and Leichtbau
• Several years of professional experience in the structural calculation and verification of rotor blades or comparable fiber composite components
• Confident handling of Ansys Classic / Workbench, Siemens NX as well as MS Office - especially Excel
• Very good English skills in speaking and writing, German skills are an advantage
• Strong analytical skills as well as a structured and solution-oriented way of working
• High degree of self-organization, willingness to learn and initiative
