.NET Developer (with basic English)

Development is Endava's largest discipline. Our developers design, build, and put software products into production using multiple programming languages, frameworks, and libraries. Working in close collaboration with multidisciplinary teams, they bring adaptability, problem-solving skills, and a strong customer focus. Responsibilities: Develop software components following industry standards, tools, and best practices.

Participate in backlog refinement, estimations, implementation, and other development activities.

Collaborate with different stakeholders to understand requirements, architecture, and priorities.

Escalate risks, issues, or concerns related to development tasks.

Review work performed by other members of the development team.

Learn and apply new technologies, practices, and tools according to project needs.

Participate in technical communities and internal events.

More than 3 years of experience in software development.

Solid knowledge of C# and backend development using .NET and ASP.NET Core.

Experience in the design, development, and maintenance of RESTful APIs.

Knowledge of object-oriented design principles, SOLID, design patterns, and clean code practices.

Experience working with Entity Framework Core and data access.

Hands-on experience with relational databases, preferably Microsoft SQL Server, including SQL query development and optimization.

Experience with automated testing, including unit tests and integration tests, using tools such as xUnit, NUnit, or similar.

Experience in frontend development using React and JavaScript/TypeScript.

Knowledge of containerization technologies, including Docker and Docker Compose.

Experience working with version control systems such as Git.

Familiarity with CI/CD practices and tools, preferably Azure DevOps and Azure Pipelines.

Basic knowledge of cloud services, preferably Microsoft Azure.

Basic knowledge of deployments in Kubernetes and tools such as Helm or Kustomize.

Knowledge of observability, logging, and monitoring practices using tools such as Application Insights, OpenTelemetry, New Relic, or similar.

Familiarity with protocols and standards such as HTTP, REST, and JSON.

Experience using AI-assisted development tools, such as GitHub Copilot, Codex, Claude Code, or similar, as part of the software development lifecycle.

Familiarity with the use of AI agents for development tasks, including code generation and modification, analysis, testing, debugging, and documentation.

Knowledge of best practices for working with generative AI, including effective definition of instructions and context, review and validation of results, and responsible use of these tools.

Basic knowledge of agile methodologies such as Scrum or Kanban.

Strong problem-solving and analytical thinking skills.
