At Coforge, we are hiring Senior AI Application Engineer (#006fu00000amGqXAAU-2) with the following skill set.

Key Responsibilities

  • Build AI-enabled capabilities, including agent tool surfaces, workflow orchestration, retrieval, and document intelligence.
  • Integrate Azure AI Foundry models through API Management and implement tool and function calling.
  • Contribute to the connector surface and develop cloud-native services using Azure Container Apps.
  • Implement observability and tracing, including token attribution and AI usage monitoring.
  • Implement auditing and traceability appropriate for regulated environments.
  • Optimize AI solutions for reliability, latency, and token cost.
  • Participate in design reviews and contribute to technical design decisions.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to deliver production-ready AI applications.

Required Skills & Qualifications

  • 5+ years of experience in software development.
  • Strong hands-on experience with C#/.NET and familiarity with Python.
  • Experience developing solutions on Azure Cloud.
  • Hands-on experience with Large Language Models beyond prompting, including API integration, tool calling, and workflow orchestration.
  • Experience with API-driven and distributed systems.
  • Experience with CI/CD and automated testing.
  • Strong understanding of production AI application development and operational challenges.
  • Strong communication and collaboration skills.
  • Strong working proficiency in English.

Preferred Skills

  • Experience with Azure AI Foundry.
  • Hands-on experience implementing RAG solutions, including retrieval-quality tuning.
  • Experience developing Model Context Protocol (MCP) servers.
  • Experience with document intelligence, extraction, or classification, including accuracy measurement.
  • Experience using agentic coding tools in real-world development environments.
  • Experience with Azure Container Apps, API Management, Cosmos DB, Redis, or Microsoft Fabric.
  • Experience operating AI features in production and troubleshooting issues related to extraction, retrieval quality, latency, reliability, or cost.
