Polish-speaking traffic controller for northwestern Skåne

About the role

As a traffic controller, you will work with planning, coordinating, and administering international transports between Sweden and Poland, with a primary focus on either import or export. You will belong to a dedicated team of five employees and a traffic manager, where together you are responsible for ensuring that transports are carried out as efficiently and smoothly as possible.

The following tasks are included in the role of traffic controller:

• Daily contact with haulage companies, drivers, shipping companies, and customers.
• Load planning of goods

• Planning of our outgoing units and assignment of tractor units.
• Notification to customers regarding loading and unloading

• Booking of loading and unloading times as well as reporting in customer-specific systems
• Daily control of trailer availability and ensuring, in consultation with colleagues, that the trailer flow is balanced

The position is a consulting assignment where you will be employed by Emploid and rented out as a consultant to our client.

At the same time, you have many points of contact and therefore need to be communicative and find it easy to collaborate with customers, suppliers, drivers, and colleagues. You enjoy contributing to the team but are confident in independently being responsible for and driving your own tasks.

Competence requirements:

• Experience in service, order management, planning, and administration
• Good knowledge of the Officepaketet, system proficiency, and general IT competence

• Fluent in Polish and English, both spoken and written; knowledge of Swedish is a strong merit
• It is a merit, but not a requirement, if you have any type of experience from the transport and logistics industry.
