Software Engineer – Data Processing & Backend (m/f/d)
Your Mission Data Processing & Signal Analysis: You develop and maintain backend systems that ingest, transform, and prepare raw measurement data from our CMI inspections for further processing — from field data acquisition to the final analysis result. API Development: You design and implement internal and external interfaces through which our data flows between field systems, cloud infrastructure, and customer products. Internal Tools & Automation: You build and improve tools that make our Data Analysts and Field Engineers more efficient in their daily work — from data validation to automated reporting. Technological Co-creation: You contribute your own ideas on how we can scale and improve our system architecture — and implement them together with the team. Cross-departmental Collaboration: You work closely with hardware developers, Data Analysts, and the Operations team to translate technical requirements from the field into robust software solutions.

What You Bring to the Table Completed studies in Computer Science, Physics, Mathematics, or a related field — or comparable practical experience Solid Python skills and enjoyment in using them to solve real problems Experience with REST APIs, data pipelines, or processing large amounts of data Understanding of signal processing or physical measurement data is a plus, but not a must Pragmatic, solution-oriented way of working — you find a good balance between "quick fix" and "proper solution" Independent working in a dynamic environment with little micromanagement Good written and spoken English skills; German is an advantage
