English Language Teacher

Responsibilities:

Plan and deliver engaging English language lessons in line with the school’s curriculum and academic standards.

Assess students’ performance through tests, assignments, examinations, and other appropriate evaluation methods.

Develop lesson plans, teaching materials, and classroom activities that support effective learning.

Monitor students’ academic progress and provide appropriate feedback, guidance, and additional support where required. Maintain effective classroom management and collaborate with other teachers and school management to support students’ overall development.

Requirements:

Bachelor’s Degree (B.A. or B.Ed.) in English Language or English & Literary Studies. Minimum of 3 years of relevant teaching experience, preferably within a school environment. Strong knowledge of English language teaching methods, curriculum development, and assessment techniques.

Excellent verbal and written communication skills.

Strong classroom management, interpersonal, and organisational skills.

Location: Ikotun/Ijegun and environs 

Remuneration: NGN 80,000 -100,000 Monthly (starting salary)
