Business/Sales Executive
Responsibilities:
Identify, prospect, and acquire new institutional clients (corporates, MDAs, cooperatives, associations, etc.)
Develop and execute strategies to grow business within existing institutional accounts
Build and maintain strong, long-term relationships with key decision-makers and stakeholders
Achieve set sales targets and revenue goals within assigned territory or portfolio
Prepare and present business proposals, quotations, and pitches tailored to client needs
Conduct market research to identify trends, opportunities, and competitor activities
Negotiate contracts, pricing, and service terms with institutional clients
Collaborate with internal teams (operations, underwriting/credit, customer service, etc.) to ensure smooth service delivery
Monitor account performance and resolve client issues or complaints promptly
Prepare periodic reports on sales activities, pipeline status, and market feedback for management
Represent the organization at industry events, networking functions, and client meetings
Ensure compliance with regulatory requirements and internal policies in all client dealings
Requirements:
Bachelor's degree (HND/BSc) in Business Administration, Marketing, Economics, Finance, or a related field Minimum of 2–5 years of experience in business development, institutional sales, or relationship management (banking, insurance, or financial services experience preferred)
Proven track record of meeting or exceeding sales targets
