Key Responsibilities:

Finance

  • Oversee day-to-day finance activities including AR, AP, Fixed Assets, GST, bank reconciliation, cash flow and month-end closing.
  • Prepare and analyse financial information, including P&L and management reports, and provide timely insights to Top Management.
  • Support budget preparation, forecasting and annual budget planning in coordination with relevant departments.
  • Review accounting work prepared by junior staff and provide guidance where required.
  • Coordinate with auditors, bankers, Company Accountant, Company Secretary and Malaysia finance team on finance, audit, banking and compliance matters.
  • Maintain accurate financial records and ensure timely and proper completion of finance-related activities.

Family-Owned Business

  • Handle the accounting and monthly management reporting for a family-owned business, including preparation of P&L and financial analysis.
  • Provide financial information and support to Top Management on the business performance.

Administration

  • Oversee general office administration, travel arrangements, staff facilities, vendors, office budget and employee welfare activities.
  • Coordinate festive corporate gifting.
  • Organize and support employee engagement initiatives, company events, and team-building activities.
  • Provide administrative and operational support to Top Management and undertake ad-hoc assignments as required.

Job Requirement:

  • Diploma or Degree in Accounting, Finance, Business Administration or a related discipline.
  • At least 5 years of relevant experience in finance, accounting and administration, preferably in a SME or manufacturing environment.
  • Knowledge of Microsoft Dynamics NAV (Navision) accounting software is an advantage.
  • Strong experience in month-end closing, financial reporting, P&L analysis, budgeting, forecasting and cash flow monitoring.
  • Strong analytical, organisational and problem-solving skills with attention to detail.
  • Able to work independently, manage multiple responsibilities and meet deadlines.
  • Good communication and interpersonal skills, with the confidence to work directly with Top Management.
  • Mature, trustworthy and discreet when handling financial and confidential company information.
  • Willingness to travel overseas to support finance, accounting and administrative matters for the Company's other entities.
  • Candidates with experience supporting family-owned businesses or multiple business functions will have an added advantage.
