ENVIRONMENTAL QUALIFICATION AND TESTING ENGINEER M/F
RESPONSIBILITIES:
Within our EMC subsidiary and as part of a client project specialized in aeronautics located in the 57, you will act as an Environmental Qualification/Testing Engineer M/F for the development and qualification of electrical equipment intended for the aeronautical sector. Integrated into the technical teams and interfacing with the Engineering, Project, and Quality teams, you will be responsible for managing environmental qualification campaigns, from requirements analysis to the exploitation and presentation of test results. Your missions: Preparation and definition of qualification campaigns
- Analyze client specifications and applicable technical requirements;
- Participate in the definition of the qualification strategy;
- Develop test plans and programs;
- Write the procedures and documents necessary for conducting tests;
- Identify the necessary means, tooling, and resources;
- Establish the cost estimates associated with the test campaigns;
- Build and monitor qualification schedules;
- Identify risks and critical points that could impact the campaigns.
Management and execution of tests
- Organize and plan the various environmental test campaigns;
- Coordinate the validation of procedures with the relevant teams;
- Manage the execution of tests in accordance with applicable requirements and standards;
- Coordinate activities with internal and external laboratories;
- Ensure monitoring of resources, costs, and deadlines;
- Perform regular reporting to project managers.
Analysis of results and handling of anomalies
- Analyze data and results from the tests;
- Identify deviations and anomalies;
- Participate in the search for technical causes;
- Propose solutions and corrective actions in collaboration with the Engineering teams;
- Evaluate the risks of drift and their potential impacts on costs and deadlines;
- Present results and conclusions during internal and client technical meetings.
Continuous improvement
- Participate in the improvement of qualification methods and processes;
- Contribute to the evolution of laboratory means and practices;
- Capitalize on the results and feedback from the various campaigns.
REQUIRED PROFILE:
With a Master's degree / engineering degree in a field such as:
- Electrical Engineering;
- Electronics;
- Electrotechnics;
- Physical Measurements;
- Instrumentation;
- or equivalent technical training.
A first experience of at least 3 years in testing, qualification, product validation, test laboratories, instrumentation, or product engineering is sought. You are autonomous, structured, and capable of analyzing a technical problem through to the identification and implementation of a solution. You are also capable of working with multidisciplinary stakeholders and clearly explaining complex technical issues.
- Professional English is essential, both written and oral;
- Proficiency in Pack Office;
- Knowledge of MS Project and MS Visio is appreciated;
- Electrical authorization BE Essais is appreciated or the possibility to obtain it.
Occasional travel to other sites, test laboratories, suppliers, subcontractors, or clients is to be expected.
