TEST BENCH ENGINEER M/F

RESPONSIBILITIES:

To intervene within the framework of a project for an aeronautical industrialist, we are looking for an Automated Test Bench Engineer. You will be responsible for the design, development, validation, and industrialization of automated electrical test means intended for product qualification before delivery to customers. Intervention across the entire life cycle of the test benches, from their definition to their production launch, as well as their evolution and maintenance in operational conditions. Main responsibilities

• Independently design and develop automated test benches in compliance with technical specifications, quality requirements, and current standards.
• Participate in the definition and analysis of test specifications by providing a critical perspective and technical expertise to the R&D teams.
• Define the hardware and functional architectures of the test systems.
• Identify and implement the most relevant technical solutions in order to optimize the performance, reliability, and maintainability of the test benches.
• Ensure the validation, updating, and industrialization of the test means.
• Participate in the integration of test racks in compliance with safety standards.
• Write and maintain technical documentation (specifications, design files, procedures, user manuals, etc.).
• Drive and coordinate the contributions of internal and external stakeholders.
• Participate in cost estimation, responses to calls for tender, and contractual evolutions of projects.
• Ensure regular and accurate reporting of activity progress.

REQUIRED PROFILE:

Required technical skills

• Good mastery of the hardware and software architecture of electronic systems.
• In-depth knowledge of standards and development methodologies for automated test benches, particularly in the RF and Time/Frequency fields.
• Mastery of electronic measurement instrumentation, electronic manufacturing processes, and associated technologies.
• Technical English allowing for exchanges in an international context.

Know-how

• Definition and development of automated test bench architectures.
• Indispensable mastery of NI TestStand.
• Knowledge of LabWindows/CVI and Python is appreciated.
• Integration and commissioning of test racks in an industrial environment.
• Writing of technical documentation.
• Evaluation and deployment of new test solutions.
• Coordination of project teams and service providers.
• Analysis, synthesis, and resolution of complex technical problems.
