General Ledger Accountant (m/f/d) (Certified Management Accountant/Bachelor Professional in Financial Accounting)

For our client, an established industrial company with professional structures in finance and accounting, we are looking for a General Ledger Accountant, Certified Management Accountant, or Senior Financial Accountant (m/f/d) in full-time at the Peiting location, starting as soon as possible. You will take on a central role in general and financial accounting, participate in individual and consolidated financial statements, and independently manage companies or business units.

Your tasks

• Participation in monthly, quarterly, and annual financial statements according to HGB at the level of individual companies and the group
• Independent execution of financial and general ledger accounting, including account reconciliation and general ledger maintenance
• Formation and reconciliation of provisions and deferred income/accruals
• Preparation and control of VAT returns
• Accounting support for individual companies or business units
• Contact person for internal departments as well as cooperation with tax advisors and auditors
• Creation of evaluations and statistics for accounting
• Support in day-to-day operations and professional guidance of colleagues
• Optimization and digitalization of finance processes
• Support in SAP and other finance projects

Your profile

• Completed commercial training, ideally with further training to become a Bilanzbuchhalter
• Alternatively, a degree in business administration with a focus on finance or accounting
• Several years of professional experience in general ledger accounting, preferably in an industrial environment
• Sound knowledge of accounting according to HGB
• Experience with monthly, quarterly, and annual financial statements
• Confident handling of provisions, accruals, and VAT topics
• Very good Microsoft Office skills
• Good SAP skills
• Experience with LucaNet is an advantage
• Experience in digitalization or SAP projects is desirable
• Good written and spoken English skills
• Structured and independent way of working
• Teamwork skills and resilience
