Specifications Analyst

In this role, you will provide technicalexpertise in pressure relief valves and special process requirements, ensuringcustomer and project specifications are accurately interpreted, communicated,and implemented throughout project execution.

In this Role, YourResponsibilities Will Be:

• Review customer and project specificationsrelated to special processes and identify applicable requirements, potentialrisks, and opportunities for clarification.
• Recommend practical alternatives, deviations,exceptions, or clarifications while ensuring alignment with applicable industrycodes and customer expectations.
• Consolidate project requirements upon receiptof purchase orders and reconcile differences between quotations, technicalqualifications, contractual requirements, and project agreements.
• Collaborate with quotation and project teamsto develop accurate sales order documentation that clearly communicatescustomer and project requirements.
• Support technical discussions, correspondence,and meetings with customers, manufacturing facilities, and vendors to ensurealignment on special process requirements and provide technical guidance tosupport project execution.
• Develop project-specific addenda tomanufacturing procedures covering areas such as material testing, heattreatment, welding, painting, non-destructive examination (NDE), and otherspecial processes.
• Review customer comments on procedures andcoordinate technical clarifications with stakeholders to support timelydocumentation approval.
• Create procedures or specifications whenexisting documentation does not adequately address project requirements.
• Support project management and operationalexcellence initiatives through additional project-related activities andtechnical expertise.
• Promote a culture of safety, quality,continuous improvement, and effective cross-functional collaboration.

For This Role, You Will Need:

• Experience working with special processeswithin the oil and gas, energy, industrial, or related sectors.
• Experience supporting activities involvingwelding, coating, heat treatment, casting, material testing, NDE, or similarspecial processes.
• Strong knowledge of ASME Boiler and PressureVessel Code (ASME BPVC), including Sections II, V, VIII, and IX.
• Understanding of NORSOK M-501 requirements andtheir application to project specifications.
• Ability to review, interpret, and applytechnical specifications, standards, codes, and customer requirements.
• Strong analytical, problem-solving, andcritical-thinking skills.
• Ability to manage multiple priorities and workeffectively with varying levels of information and ambiguity.
• Effective written and verbal communicationskills with the ability to collaborate across multicultural teams.
• Proficiency with Microsoft Officeapplications, including Word and Excel.
• Commitment to teamwork, quality, customerfocus, and continuous learning.

Preferred Qualifications thatSet You Apart:

• Familiarity with IOGP S-563, S-705, and S-715specifications.
• Experience supporting pressure relief valve,valve manufacturing, pressure equipment, or engineered-to-order projects.
• Experience coordinating technical requirementsamong customers, suppliers, and manufacturing facilities.
• Ability to develop or improve technicalprocedures, specifications, and process documentation.
• Demonstrated ability to contribute to processimprovements and operational excellence initiatives.
