State Tested Nursing Assistant (STNA) – PRN Company: Emergent Healthcare Pay: $22 per hour Job Type: PRN Schedule: 1st, 2nd, and 3rd shifts available Work Location: Dayton area – Nursing facilities Job Summary Emergent Healthcare is seeking dependable, compassionate State Tested Nursing Assistants (STNAs) for PRN opportunities in nursing facilities. We offer 8-12-hour shifts across first, second, and third shift, giving you options to work around your availability. In this role, you will assist residents with daily care, support their comfort and well-being, and work alongside facility teams to maintain a safe, welcoming environment. We're looking for STNAs who take pride in their work and understand that patience, kindness, and the small moments make a meaningful difference. Duties Assist residents with bathing, dressing, grooming, toileting, and other daily care needs. Support safe transfers, mobility, and positioning according to resident care plans. Assist with meals and feeding as directed. Obtain and record vital signs as assigned. Observe residents and promptly report changes or concerns to the nursing team. Document care accurately and promptly using facility systems. Follow infection-control practices, safety procedures, and resident privacy requirements. Work collaboratively with nurses and other facility staff. Treat residents and their families with dignity, compassion, and respect. Requirements Current Ohio STNA status in good standing on the Ohio Nurse Aide Registry. Ability to meet facility credentialing and onboarding requirements. Knowledge of basic resident care and safety practices. Ability to assist with resident mobility and transfers using appropriate equipment and techniques. Strong communication, organization, and teamwork skills. A dependable, compassionate approach to care. Previous nursing facility, skilled nursing, or long-term care experience preferred.
