Tendering & Procurement Mechanical Engineer
Tendering & Estimation Review tender documents, drawings, BOQs, and specifications related to mechanical works.
Prepare accurate quantity take-offs and cost estimates for HVAC, plumbing, firefighting, drainage, and gas systems.
Request, analyze, and evaluate quotations from suppliers and subcontractors.
Prepare technical and commercial offers for tenders.
Propose value engineering solutions to optimize cost and performance.
Procurement Prepare procurement schedules aligned with project timelines.
Issue RFQs and evaluate suppliers’ technical and commercial submissions.
Negotiate prices, delivery schedules, and payment terms.
Prepare comparison sheets and procurement recommendations.
Ensure materials comply with project specifications and the approved vendors list.
Coordination & Documentation Coordinate with design, planning, execution, and finance teams.
Prepare material submittals and follow up for approvals.
Monitor material delivery and resolve procurement-related issues.
Maintain procurement records, contracts, and supplier databases.
Bachelor’s Degree in Mechanical Engineering.
3–5 years of experience in tendering and procurement within MEP or construction companies.
Strong knowledge of HVAC, plumbing, firefighting, and mechanical materials.
Proficiency in AutoCAD, MS Excel, and estimation tools.
Strong negotiation, communication, and analytical skills.
Experience in large-scale or high-rise projects is an advantage.
