Tasks:

  • Main contact person for the management and all employees
  • Reconciliation between the companies' systems in the programs Elite and DATEV
  • Responsibility for the complete daily invoice processing, such as recording and posting incoming invoices, creating and posting outgoing invoices including dunning management
  • Associated maintenance of accounts and master data
  • Preparation of monthly and annual financial statements and consolidation as well as further reporting in close cooperation with the Head of Finance Team
  • Carrying out account clarifications and reconciliations as well as monthly VAT advance notifications
  • Processing of travel expense and out-of-pocket expense reports according to tax and legal requirements as well as travel expense guidelines
  • Support with further accounting-related projects

Profile:

  • Successfully completed commercial training as a Financial Accountant or Tax Assistant
  • Very good English skills
  • Comprehensive professional experience in turnover and income tax law according to HGB (initial knowledge of UK Gap is an advantage)
  • Extremely confident handling of accounting software (ideally DATEV) as well as all MS-Office applications
  • Desire for individual responsibility and the further development of internal processes
  • Strong communication team player
