Full Stack Python Developer
On behalf of a client in the pharmaceutical industry, we are looking for a Senior Full Stack Python Developer to support the continued development and scaling of an AI-enabled application, with a primary focus on backend development, AI engineering and Azure cloud technologies.
Main Responsibilities
Develop and maintain Python-based backend services and APIs
Build and integrate AI/LLM-based solutions, including agent-based capabilities
Improve AI solution performance, reliability, latency and output quality
Develop frontend features using React and TypeScript when required
Build and maintain Azure infrastructure using Terraform
Support and improve CI/CD pipelines
Work with PostgreSQL, SQL, Docker and containerised services
Implement and support authentication and authorisation solutions
Integrate application and AI services with Databricks
Improve monitoring, logging and observability
Support production environments, including troubleshooting, performance optimisation and releases
Contribute to automated testing and engineering documentation
Key Requirements
Strong hands-on experience with Python development and backend API design
Experience developing and integrating AI/LLM-based solutions
Strong Azure cloud experience
Hands-on experience with Terraform, Docker and CI/CD
Experience with React and TypeScript
Strong PostgreSQL and relational database experience
Experience with authentication and identity management
Experience with monitoring, logging and observability
Experience supporting applications in production environments

BDD testing experience, including Gherkin, pytest-bdd or Playwright-BDD

Entra ID, MSAL or OBO authentication patterns
