What awaits you with us

You are responsible for the procurement of injection molding tools as well as the development and implementation of a sustainable tool procurement strategy. In doing so, you ensure compliance with cost, quality, and deadline targets while simultaneously considering technological requirements *

Tool tenders, offer analyses, as well as negotiation and conclusion of tool contracts with national and international tool suppliers, taking into account investment, life cycle, and relocation costs, are carried out independently by you *

With your work, you ensure that a high-performance tool supplier portfolio is built and further developed. You are also involved in the evaluation, development, and management of toolmaking partners as well as risk minimization strategies *

You will work closely with the Development, Industrial Engineering, Tool Design/Tool Technology, Production, and Quality Management departments to support new projects, tool relocations, and optimizations *

The active further development of standards, processes, and methods in tool management, as well as the sustainable reduction of tool costs through cost analyses, benchmarking, and value analysis projects, are driven forward by you

What you bring with you

*

You have completed technical training with further education or a completed technical or business-technical degree, as well as several years of experience in the strategic procurement of tools or technical capital goods *

For your activities, you need sound knowledge of toolmaking for plastic, metal, and assembly applications, as well as an understanding of tool calculations, manufacturing technologies, tool acceptance, and change management *

You will convince us with your strong negotiation skills as well as experience in national and international supplier management, contract management, and in conducting cost and value analyses *

Your skill set includes analytical thinking, very good knowledge of Category Management methods (Cost Breakdown, TCO), as well as an understanding of project and risk management *

Very good SAP and MS Office skills, business-fluent English skills, as well as high communication, assertiveness, and interface competence in interdisciplinary project teams round off your profile
