Elmo is looking for a Procurement Buyer

For Elmo Motion Control, a global technology company specializing in the development and manufacturing of advanced motion control systems, a Procurement Buyer is required.

As part of the role:

• Responsibility for raw material procurement requirements for the production floor based on MRP recommendations
• Working with suppliers in Israel and abroad
• Issuing purchase orders, order approvals, postponements, and expediting
• Involvement in negotiations regarding requirements from various departments: R&D, Marketing, Operations, and Production
• Updating procurement data and regular maintenance of LT, preferred supplier, and recommendations for increasing/decreasing forecasts
• Updating and maintaining supplier price lists
• Handling discrepancy reports to suppliers until replacement or credit is issued
• Handling ECOS signatures and checking the impact on procurement
• Handling supplier invoices that do not match the order
• Air/sea shipment of imported goods with an emphasis on selecting the cheapest and fastest forwarder
• Handling shortage reports and focusing on the work plan for two months ahead in coordination with the Production Control department

Job Requirements:

• At least 4 years of experience in a Procurement Buyer role - Mandatory
• Previous experience in a manufacturing company in the electronics and mechanics field - Significant advantage
• High ability to source inventory from supply sources in Israel and worldwide
• High-level negotiation skills
• Commercial understanding in contracting with suppliers
• Ability to source suppliers in Israel and abroad
• Understanding of import processes and shipment logistics from abroad
• Understanding of reading drawings - Advantage
• Proficiency in software: Agile, Outlook, Excel, and Priority
• English - Very good level </body>
