Assembly and Test Technician (M/F)

We are looking for a fitter / assembly and test technician / production assistant to complete our production / manufacturing team. They will be involved in all production operations from purchasing, quality control upon receipt, assembly and testing, to shipping logistics, truly involved in all key processes of the production of our IOT solutions evolving in an international context, both with suppliers and the integrators of our instruments.

Their mission will include the following elements:

• Ensures, as needed, mechanical assembly, assembly of sub-assemblies and/or complete products, and product testing
• Ensures electrical and/or electronic tests of sub-assemblies, and/or complete products

• Ensures product quality upon receipt
• Ensures testing of gas sensors and other sensors, notably sound, dust, and odor sensors installed in the products and/or sub-assemblies

• Ensures visual and technical control of sub-assemblies and products before and after testing operations, notably using gas dilution systems or particle chambers
• Maintains product traceability and configuration files

• Writes assembly operating procedures
• Writes test operating procedures

• Writes delivery documents (packing list)
• Proceeds with the repair of products/equipment in after-sales service (SAV)

• Proposes productivity and/or quality and/or safety improvements related to their profession
• May be called upon to interact with suppliers of production elements

• Knows and respects operating procedures
• Respects current hygiene and safety rules

• Participates in and implements testing campaigns in connection with the R&D team
• Uses the company's ERP for tracking orders, shipments, production, and associated tests

Profile sought

In full consistency with the assigned missions, we are looking for a person having:

Good technician training in electronic assembly and testing

Expertise in the field of testing and assembly of gas and dust sensors, notably through the use of dilution benches

Good verbal and non-verbal communication skills and endowed with active listening.

You like to take initiative and, of course, work in a team.

A keen sense of organization and the importance of meeting deadlines are also necessary for this position.

From a technical point of view, you master ERP software and have notions of logistics, production monitoring, and ISO quality.

You master English (written).

We are looking for someone who has obtained a bac+2, and has between 1 and 3 years of experience in a similar position, available quickly.
