*Overview:* We are seeking a skilled and dependable AZ Truck Driver to join our logistics team for local Ontario routes. This role involves day shifts operating a day cab truck, focusing on efficient, safe, and timely transportation within the province. The ideal candidate will have a solid commitment to safety and customer service, ensuring that all deliveries meet our high standards.

*Responsibilities:*

• Operate a day cab truck to safely transport freight on local routes within Ontario
• Conduct thorough pre-trip and post-trip inspections of vehicles, ensuring compliance with all safety regulations
• Manage routes effectively, considering traffic and weather conditions for timely deliveries
• Maintain accurate logs of hours driven, miles traveled, and fuel usage, per legal requirements
• Load and unload freight as necessary, occasionally using forklifts or other equipment
• Communicate with dispatch regarding delays or issues that arise during transport
• Perform minor repairs and maintenance on the vehicle as needed to keep it in optimal condition

*Experience & Requirements:*

• Valid AZ driver?s license with a clean driving record
• Minimum 3 years of AZ Truck Driver experience OR completion of the advanced MELT (Mandatory Entry-Level Training) course
• Knowledge of Ontario highways and local routes preferred
• Experience with freight handling procedures and safety regulations
• Forklift operation experience is an asset
• Basic understanding of automotive repair is a plus
• Strong communication skills and ability to work independently or as part of a team
• Accurately complete all necessary paperwork
