Immigration Specialist
Manage end-to-end Philippine immigration cases for foreign nationals.
Handle 9(g) Pre-arranged Employee Visa applications, extensions, amendments, and related processes.
Coordinate Alien Employment Permit (AEP) and other applicable work permit requirements.
Assist with Provisional Work Permit (PWP) and Special Work Permit (SWP) applications, where applicable.
Process and coordinate immigration requirements for foreign employees and their dependents/family members.
Assist with dependent visa applications and related immigration documentation.
Handle ACR I-Card applications, renewals, and related requirements.
Assist with visa downgrading, cancellation, exit clearance, and other departure-related immigration processes.
Coordinate with the Bureau of Immigration (BI), Department of Labor and Employment (DOLE), and other relevant government agencies.
Prepare, review, and organize immigration forms, supporting documents, letters, and applications.
Monitor visa and permit validity periods and ensure timely renewals.
Communicate immigration requirements, timelines, and updates clearly to clients and foreign nationals.
Track multiple immigration cases and ensure that deadlines and documentary requirements are met.
Maintain accurate and confidential records of client and employee immigration information.
Identify potential immigration issues and escalate complex cases when necessary.
Stay updated on changes to Philippine immigration and work authorization regulations.
Coordinate with internal teams and external stakeholders to ensure a smooth immigration process.
Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Legal Management, International Relations, Human Resources, or a related field is preferred.
2–5+ years of relevant experience in Philippine immigration, global mobility, visa processing, work permits, or a related field.
Demonstrated hands-on experience processing 9(g) work visas.
Experience handling immigration requirements for foreign nationals and their dependents/families.
Familiarity with Bureau of Immigration (BI) and DOLE processes.
Working knowledge of AEP and other Philippine work authorization requirements.
Strong document preparation and organizational skills.
Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
Strong attention to detail and ability to manage multiple cases simultaneously.
Ability to communicate professionally with foreign nationals, corporate clients, government agencies, and internal stakeholders.
Strong follow-through and ability to work independently.
High level of confidentiality when handling personal and immigration-related information.
Preferred Qualifications:
Previous experience with an immigration consultancy, global mobility provider, law firm, or multinational company.
Experience managing corporate immigration accounts or multiple foreign-national cases.
Experience handling dependent/family immigration cases.
Experience communicating directly with expatriates and corporate HR teams.
Knowledge of immigration processes for employees from multiple nationalities.
Experience using case management or immigration tracking systems.
