Transactional Finance Supervisor

Sheffield, South Yorkshire + Hybrid Working We’re searching for a hands-on Transactional Finance Supervisor to lead a small transactional finance team while remaining actively involved in the day-to-day running of the function. This is a well-rounded role where you’ll oversee the full finance cycle, combining team leadership, transactional oversight, and financial accounting support. The role: Managing and developing a team across purchase ledger and sales ledger Overseeing day-to-day transactional finance, ensuring accuracy and efficiency Remaining hands-on with processing, queries and escalations when needed Managing treasury activities, including cash flow and banking Assisting with audit requirements and liaising with external auditors Driving process improvements across the finance function About you: Proven experience in a similar role Strong background in transactional finance with a willingness to stay hands-on Previous experience managing and developing a team Detail-oriented with a proactive, problem-solving mindset This is a great opportunity for someone who enjoys leading from the front in a role that offers variety, ownership, and the chance to make a real impact.
