Steel Worker / FLT & Crane Driver Location: Sheffield Salary: £30,931 including shift allowance Shifts: Rotating Mornings & Afternoons Permanent | Full Time Elevation Recruitment Group's Skilled Shop Floor Team are delighted to be working with a well-established steel manufacturing business in Sheffield to recruit a Steel Worker / FLT & Crane Driver on a permanent basis. This is a great opportunity to join a busy steel environment, supporting the safe movement of materials and steel products across the site. Working Hours Mornings: Monday–Thursday: 5:45am–2:00pm Friday: 6:00am–12:40pm Afternoons: Monday–Thursday: 1:45pm–10:00pm Friday: 12:40pm–7:20pm Salary: £30,931 including shift allowance. The Role You will be responsible for: Operating Counterbalance FLTs and overhead cranes .

Loading, unloading and moving steel products and materials around the site.

Supporting production with the movement and preparation of materials.

Carrying out basic checks and reporting any issues.

Maintaining high standards of housekeeping and health & safety.

Working as part of a team to meet daily production targets.

The Ideal Candidate Previous experience within steel, metal, engineering or heavy manufacturing .

Experience operating a Counterbalance FLT and overhead crane .

Strong understanding of health & safety within a heavy industrial environment.

Reliable, safety-conscious and comfortable working in a busy production setting.
