Returns Administrator
Leeds, LS11 £30,000 FTE (£20,000 pro rata) 25 hours per week, Monday to Friday Permanent
Elevation Recruitment Group are currently working with a successful and established business based in Leeds who are looking to appoint a Returns Administrator to join their team on a part-time basis. This is a varied role combining returns administration, finance support and internal communication. You’ll work closely with the Sales team and other internal departments, particularly supporting a team of Sales Representatives to ensure returns are processed accurately and efficiently. The business has recently introduced a new ERP system, so there is a strong focus on ensuring information is accurate and kept up to date. You don’t need previous experience with the system as full training will be provided.
Key responsibilities:
- Processing and administering returns through the ERP system
- Ensuring all returns paperwork and information is complete and up to date
- Working closely with Sales Representatives to gather information and progress outstanding returns
- Building strong relationships with Sales Representatives and internal teams
- Proactively following up to ensure information is obtained and actions are completed
- Updating the ERP system with relevant return information
- Raising re-charge invoices and processing credits where required
- Investigating and correcting information entered against the wrong customer accounts
- Supporting the Finance team with accounts payable and processing invoices
- Ensuring invoices are processed and sent out on time
- Assisting with ad-hoc invoice and order processing
- Obtaining serial numbers and other information required for returns
- Supporting the monthly statement run
- Providing general administrative support across Finance and Sales
About you:
- Previous experience in administration, finance, accounts payable, returns or a similar role
- Highly organised with excellent attention to detail
- Proactive and confident chasing information and getting things moving
- Strong communication skills with the ability to build good internal relationships
- Comfortable working independently and taking ownership of tasks
- Confident using IT systems and able to learn new software quickly
- Happy to support with a variety of ad-hoc tasks when required
- Previous ERP experience would be advantageous but is not essential
