Elevation Recruitment Group's Skilled Shop Floor Team is delighted to be partnering with a well-established manufacturing business in Barnsley. We are currently supporting the business in their search for an enthusiastic CNC Wood Machinist / CNC Saw Operator to join their team.
CNC Wood Machinist / CNC Saw Operator:
- Shift: Morning and afternoon shifts available
- Hours: 37.5
- Hourly Rate: £13.25 - £14.50 p/h DOE + 10% shift allowance
Key Responsibilities of the CNC Wood Machinist / CNC Saw Operator:
- Set and operate CNC machinery for the manufacture of wooden door components
- Read and interpret technical drawings and CNC programmes
- Set tooling, offsets and machine parameters
- Produce components accurately and efficiently to required tolerances
- Carry out quality checks throughout the manufacturing process
Requirements We would be keen to speak with CNC Wood Machinist / CNC Saw Operator
- Apprentice-trained or time-served in a similar role.
- Proficiency in reading and interpreting engineering drawings with precision.
- Skilled in using measuring equipment to ensure accuracy.
- Experienced CNC Operator with wood.
