Senior Accountant

Responsibilities:

Financial Accounting & Reporting:

Prepare and review monthly management accounts and financial reports  Ensure accurate general ledger management and reconciliations Support month-end and year-end closing processes 

Accounting Controls & Compliance:

Ensure compliance with accounting standards, tax regulations, and internal controls Review accounting entries, reconciliations, and supporting documentation Support audits and regulatory inspections 

Accounts Payable, Receivable & Payroll Oversight:

Oversee accounts payable and receivable processes Review payroll schedules and statutory deductions Ensure timely payments, collections, and filings 

Project & Cost Accounting Support:

Support project cost tracking and financial reporting  Work with Project Managers and Quantity Surveyors on cost control Monitor project-related expenses and revenue recognition 

Team Support & Process Improvement:

Supervise and support Junior Accountants and Bookkeepers  Improve accounting processes, templates, and documentation  Provide technical guidance and on-the-job training

Requirements:

BSc. in Accounting, Finance, or a related field  Professional accounting certification (ICAN/ACCA) is required Minimum of 5–8 years’ accounting experience Prior experience in a senior or supervisory accounting role Experience in manufacturing organizations is an advantage Highly accountable and detail-oriented Ethical and compliant Proactive and solution-focused Strong work discipline Trusted financial professional Financial accounting and reporting General ledger management and reconciliations Tax compliance and statutory reporting Project and cost accounting Advanced Excel and accounting systems Strong analytical and problem-solving skills Attention to detail and accuracy Supervisory and coaching ability Clear communication and professionalism High integrity and accountability
