Job Summary
Drive Class 4 lorries to collect and deliver materials, coordinate with teams and customers, assist with loading/unloading, and support warehouse operations to ensure timely and safe logistics.
Responsibilities
- Drive Class 4 lorry to complete daily collection and delivery routes on schedule
- Coordinate effectively with customers, Admin, and Operations teams during collections to ensure smooth operations
- Assist with loading and unloading materials and equipment safely and efficiently
- Secure all materials properly before transportation to prevent damage or loss
- Verify collected items against Delivery Orders, collection lists, or job instructions for accuracy
- Obtain customer acknowledgement/signature and submit completed documents promptly after each job
- Capture photos of collected materials when required for documentation
- Perform daily basic vehicle checks and maintain cleanliness of the assigned lorry
- Report vehicle defects, accidents, collection discrepancies, or damaged materials immediately to management
- Adhere strictly to road safety, workplace safety, and customer site requirements at all times
- Support warehouse tasks including sorting, packing, and weighing when not assigned to driving duties
- Carry out other duties as assigned by Supervisor or Management
Required competencies and certifications
- Valid Singapore Class 4 Driving Licence
Preferred competencies and qualifications
- Relevant lorry driving experience
- Ability to communicate and coordinate with customers and internal teams
- Responsible, punctual, and safety-conscious work attitude
- Willingness to work overtime when required
