Civil Engineer
Electrofax Engineering Services (GH) Limited is seeking to recruit Civil Engineer. Position Title: Civil Engineer – Transmission Line & Substation Relocation Project Job Purpose To manage and supervise all civil and structural engineering aspects of the transmission line and substation relocation project. Key Responsibilities
Review and approve civil engineering designs and construction drawings. Supervise foundation construction for transmission towers and substation equipment. Oversee site grading, access roads, drainage systems, retaining structures, and building works. Ensure compliance with approved specifications and construction standards. Review geotechnical reports and recommend foundation solutions. Conduct site inspections and quality verification activities. Monitor contractor performance and productivity. Coordinate civil works with electrical installation activities. Verify quantities, measurements, and progress certifications.
Qualification Requirements
BSc in Civil Engineering. Minimum of 8–10 years experience in power infrastructure projects. Experience in transmission line foundations, substation civil works, roads, drainage, and structural works. Knowledge of geotechnical investigations and structural analysis.
General Requirements
Experience working on high-voltage transmission and substation projects (161kV or above preferred). Strong knowledge of utility standards, engineering codes, and regulatory requirements. Ability to work in multidisciplinary teams and remote project locations. Strong communication, reporting, and stakeholder engagement skills. Proficiency in Microsoft Office and relevant engineering/project management software. Commitment to quality, safety, environmental stewardship, and ethical conduct. Ability to work under demanding schedules while maintaining high professional standards.
