Our client is seeking an experienced Payroll & Benefits Administrator to join their team in a standalone payroll role supporting employees across Canada and the United States.
This is an excellent opportunity for a payroll professional who enjoys taking ownership, solving complex payroll challenges, and serving as a trusted resource for employees and leadership. The successful candidate will play a key role in ensuring accurate payroll processing, benefits administration, compliance, reporting, and payroll system maintenance.

RESPONSIBILITIES:
- Manage full-cycle payroll processing for multiple Canadian and U.S. payroll groups.
- Administer employee benefits, pension programs, employee leaves, and payroll-related changes.
- Ensure payroll is processed accurately, on time, and in compliance with applicable legislation and company policies.
- Prepare payroll reconciliations, audit payroll data, and investigate discrepancies.
- Support year-end payroll activities, reporting requirements, and government remittances.
- Maintain employee payroll records and ensure accurate documentation.
- Serve as the primary point of contact for employee payroll and benefits inquiries.
- Utilize advanced Excel skills to support payroll analysis, reporting, and reconciliation activities.
- Troubleshoot payroll system issues and support ongoing process improvements.
- Collaborate with internal stakeholders to ensure payroll, benefits, and employee data are maintained accurately.
QUALIFICATIONS:
- Strong recent experience working with Dayforce is required.
- 3+ years of experience processing payroll within a complex, multi-payroll environment.
- Strong knowledge of Canadian payroll legislation and best practices.
- Benefits administration experience.
- Advanced Excel skills with the ability to perform data analysis, auditing, and reconciliations.
- Strong financial acumen and problem-solving abilities.
- Experience supporting U.S. payroll is considered a strong asset.
- PCP designation is considered an asset.
- Excellent attention to detail, organization, and documentation practices.
- Strong communication skills and a customer-service-oriented approach.
