Our client is seeking a highly organized and detail oriented Supply Chain Administrator to join their team on a temporary contract basis. If you have experience across inventory, shipping, purchasing support, and logistics, and thrive in a fast paced environment where priorities can shift, this could be a great opportunity for you!

This role offers the opportunity to support a custom manufacturing environment while working closely with vendors and internal teams to keep inventory, orders, and shipments moving efficiently. The ideal candidate will bring strong logistics experience, excellent attention to detail, and a proactive approach to problem solving.

Responsibilities:

  • Count and reconcile physical inventory against digital inventory records.
  • Prepare and interpret shipping and customs documentation using existing templates.
  • Coordinate with vendors to prioritize and expedite orders based on changing schedules and demands.
  • Support purchasing activities and vendor communication.
  • Coordinate and book trucks and freight shipments.
  • Support customs brokerage and border clearance processes.
  • Create and process invoices and other shipping related documentation.
  • Maintain accurate records and ensure a high level of quality and attention to detail.
  • Collaborate with internal teams to help ensure materials and orders are available when needed.

Qualifications:

  • Experience in supply chain, logistics, shipping, purchasing support, or a related environment.
  • Hands on experience with shipping documentation, customs brokers, freight coordination, and/or border clearance.
  • Experience working in a manufacturing, custom build, or project based environment is highly preferred.
  • Strong organizational, problem solving, and attention to detail skills.
  • Ability to manage shifting priorities while maintaining accuracy and quality.
  • Strong communication skills and the ability to work collaboratively with vendors and internal teams.
  • Experience with inventory or scheduling systems. QuickBooks and Smartsheet experience is an asset.
