Projects Department Manager

For the site of Kinetix company from the Elbit group in Airport City, a Programs and Projects Department Manager is required.

Within the role:

• Leading all programs and projects activity in the company as a member of the management team at the Vice President level, reporting to the company CEO
• Managing and leading the team of project managers, mentoring, training, and professional development of the managers and employees in the department
• Overall responsibility for managing complex development, engineering design, and serial production projects while meeting budget, schedule, quality, performance, and profitability targets
• Setting priorities and allocating resources between projects according to business and organizational needs
• Leading risk and opportunity management processes to improve performance and business results
• Formulating and implementing methodologies, work processes, and technological tools for programs and projects management
• Leading business campaigns, preparing quotations, managing negotiations, and representing the company to customers and partners in Israel and worldwide
• Managing ongoing contact with the Ministry of Defense, IDF, strategic customers, and leading business entities
• Cross-organizational work with Engineering, Operations, Supply Chain, Production, Quality, Finance, and Human Resources
• Full partnership as a member of the management team in building strategy, multi-year work plans, and making decisions that affect the company's activity

Job Requirements:

• Bachelor's degree in Engineering
• Experience in managing a department of project managers or a business unit
• Experience in managing complex development and production projects in a technological and matrix environment
• Experience working with senior department managers and multiple interfaces within the organization
• Very high level of English, both written and spoken
• Willingness to travel abroad for work
• Experience as a member of management - advantage
• Experience working with the IDF, Ministry of Defense, or defense industries - significant advantage
• Familiarity with energy, cooling, and air conditioning systems - advantage
• Military background in the fields of electronics, armament, or technological maintenance - advantage
