Senior Procurement Buyer

A Senior Procurement Buyer is required for the company's site in Sderot

Come be part of a professional procurement team that leads collaborations with suppliers, subcontractors, and intra-organizational entities, and serves as a central link in the success of our projects

As part of the role:

• Management of complex contractual engagements with suppliers and subcontractors
• Management of the ordering and supply system with suppliers in Israel and abroad, including monitoring and meeting timelines
• Management of work packages and work plans of suppliers and subcontractors
• Management of negotiations on commercial terms, prices, and delivery times
• Identification and development of strategic suppliers according to the organization's needs
• Monitoring and controlling supplier performance and continuous improvement of procurement processes
• Solving operational problems related to supplies and delays
• Close work with Engineering, Projects, Operations, Finance, and Legal departments
• Presentation of data and analyses to senior management

Job Requirements:

• Bachelor's degree in Industrial Engineering and Management / Logistics / Economics / Business Administration
• At least 5 years of experience in strategic procurement in the field of Mechanics / Optics / Electronics
• Proven experience in systems procurement and leading procurement for projects in a development environment
• Experience in managing and monitoring orders in ERP systems
• Proficiency in Office applications, with an emphasis on Excel
• High level of English in speaking and writing
• Technical understanding and ability to read drawings in the relevant field - an advantage
• High negotiation skills, excellent interpersonal communication, strategic thinking, and ability to work independently
