Experienced Mechanical Quality Inspector

For the company site in Rehovot, an experienced Mechanical Inspector is required to join the inspection and quality field

The role includes responsibility for performing quality inspections for precision mechanical parts and working in an advanced technological environment

Within the role:

• Performing incoming inspection, in-process inspection, and final inspection for precision mechanical parts
• Reading and understanding mechanical drawings and technical requirements
• Performing measurements using conventional measuring tools and advanced measuring instruments, including CMM programming
• Writing inspection reports
• Routine work with production, engineering, and quality departments
• Participation in failure investigation and quality improvement activities

Experience:

• At least 5 years as a Mechanical Inspector or Quality Auditor in the field of machining and mechanical manufacturing
• Engineering Technician or Mechanical Technician – advantage
• Experience in reading mechanical drawings
• Experience working with measuring tools such as: caliper, micrometer, height gauge, CMM, etc.
• Knowledge and understanding of Geometric Dimensioning and Tolerancing (GD&T)
• Experience working in an industrial environment, advantage in the aviation or defense field
• Good level of technical English (reading)
• Knowledge in building measurement programs and PAS software – advantage

Good interpersonal skills, ability to learn quickly, ability to work independently and in a team, precision, order, and high-level thoroughness
