Steel Detailer

Build 3D steel models in Tekla Structures from design drawings and specifications.

Produce shop drawings, assembly drawings, erection drawings, and GA drawings.

Generate bill of materials, cutting lists, bolt lists, and NC files for fabrication.

Detail connections (bolted and welded) according to design requirements and applicable codes.

Check models and drawings for clashes, errors, and compliance before issue.

Prepare and update drawings in AutoCAD as required.

Detail piping and supports when required by the project.

Handle RFIs and drawing revisions, and coordinate with design engineers, the workshop, and site teams.

Maintain drawing registers, revision control, and document naming standards.

Support the workshop with clarifications during fabrication.

Bachelor’s degree in Civil or Structural Engineering.

Minimum 2 years of experience in steel structure detailing.

Strong proficiency in Tekla Structures and AutoCAD.

Good understanding of steel connections, welding symbols, and fabrication processes.

Attention to detail, good organization, and the ability to meet deadlines.
