Inventory Accountant

Job Title: Inventory Accountant / stock controller

Working Hours: 11:00 AM – 7:00 PM Working Days: Saturday – Friday Weekly Day Off: Sunday

Responsibilities:

• Conduct a complete inventory count of the stock available in all shops.
• Organize and document all products and quantities currently in stock.
• Set up and implement an inventory management system.
• Record and monitor all incoming and outgoing stock movements.
• Record transfers between branches, returns, damaged items, and shortages.
• Reconcile the physical inventory with the quantities recorded in the system and identify any discrepancies.
• Prepare regular inventory and stock movement reports.
• Previous experience as an Inventory Accountant or Stock Controller.
• Good experience in inventory counting and stock control.
• Experience setting up or implementing an inventory management system.
• Good knowledge of Excel and accounting/inventory software.
• Accurate, organized, and able to identify inventory discrepancies.

Main Objective:

To establish an accurate and organized system that continuously shows the actual stock quantities, what has been received, what has been issued or sold, and any transfers or discrepancies in the inventory of each branch.
