Metallurgy Engineer (m/f/d)

For over 26 years, we have been successfully bringing people and companies together. For our customer in Düren, we are looking for a Housekeeping Manager (m/f/d) full-time within the framework of temporary employment with a very good option for permanent takeover.

These tasks await you:

• Technical support for international consulting projects of our customers
• Analyses, optimizations, and commissioning of electric arc furnaces or gas-oxygen burners worldwide
• Participation in the conception and implementation of practice-oriented seminars on technical topics of steel production with a focus on the electric steel route (EAF), including process understanding, plant operation, and optimization along the entire value chain
• Close cooperation with internal specialist departments, own production, as well as international partners and customers

What you bring with you:

• Completed engineering degree in metallurgy, ironmaking, or a comparable field of study
• Several years of practical experience in steel production, ideally in the field of electric steelworks (EAF)
• Sound knowledge of the processes of the electric steel route and adjacent process steps
• Ideally experience in the field of Consulting/management consulting
• Knowledge in project management and methodological competence
• Independent, structured, and communicative way of working
• Willingness to travel (domestic and abroad) as well as intercultural openness
• Very good English skills in speaking and writing
