Eko Organic Food Industries Limited is seeking a detail-oriented and analytical Financial Planning and Reporting Associate to join our finance team.

This role supports budgeting, forecasting, financial analysis, and management reporting, ensuring accurate insights that drive strategic decision-making. The ideal candidate will have strong technical accounting knowledge, advanced Excel skills, and the ability to communicate financial results effectively to stakeholders.

Key Responsibilities

Financial Reconciliation: Perform monthly bank and intercompany reconciliations, investigate variances, and ensure all reconciling items are promptly resolved and supported. Financial Accounting: Ensure timely recognition of invoices, liabilities, accruals, provisions, revenues, and other financial transactions in accordance with applicable accounting standards. General Ledger & Reporting: Conduct periodic GL reviews and proofing to ensure the accuracy and integrity of financial records and financial statements. Loans & Financial Schedules: Maintain accurate and up-to-date schedules for loans, borrowings, accruals, provisions, and other key financial balances. Financial Analysis & Modelling: Develop financial models, analyse actual performance against budgets and forecasts, and provide insights to support financial planning and management decision-making. Finance Support: Provide financial and administrative support to the Head of Finance, including leave relief and other finance-related assignments as required.

Requirements

Bachelor’s degree in accounting, Finance, Economics, or related field. ICAN, ACCA, or equivalent professional qualification is an advantage. Minimum 3 years’ experience in financial accounting, reporting, or management accounting. Strong knowledge of reconciliations, GL, accruals, provisions, revenue recognition, and financial reporting. Advanced Excel and financial modelling skills. Experience with ERP/accounting software. Strong analytical, problem-solving, and attention-to-detail skills.
