Your tasks

Role Description The Korope Bus Driver is responsible for safely operating korope buses on designated routes within Lagos, ensuring passengers are picked up and dropped off at approved stops. Day-to-day tasks include performing basic vehicle checks before and after trips, following traffic and safety regulations, collecting fares where applicable, and keeping accurate records of daily trips. The driver will assist passengers with boarding and alighting, provide courteous customer service, and report any incidents, delays, or vehicle issues to the supervisor. The role also involves keeping the bus clean and orderly and coordinating with the transport team on schedules and route changes. This is a full-time, on-site role based in Lagos.

Requirements

• Valid commercial driver’s license appropriate for korope bus operation and a clean driving record.
• Proven experience driving buses or similar commercial vehicles in urban environments, preferably within Lagos.
• Strong knowledge of Lagos roads, traffic patterns, and local transport regulations.
• Ability to follow safety procedures, conduct basic vehicle inspections, and report mechanical issues promptly.
• Good communication and customer service skills, with the ability to interact respectfully with diverse passengers.
• Reliability, punctuality, and the ability to work flexible hours, including early mornings, evenings, weekends, and holidays as needed.
• Physical ability to sit for extended periods and assist passengers with boarding and alighting when required.
• Minimum secondary school education (SSCE or equivalent); additional transport-related training or certification is an advantage.
• Deliverying of our Food Products to our Customers at very location.
